The Faith Sew Sweet story

Hi Sweet Friend, I’m Carey! So glad you are here. Let me tell you my story…..

I’m a wife, a dog mom, a bonus mom, a daughter, a sister, a very proud aunt Cheeta, and most of all a lover of Jesus and His people.

My faith shapes how I live, how I work, and how I show up everyday. In everything I do ~ whether in my “real job”, this fun side business, or running errands at the grocery store, my desire is to reflect His love and to be His hands and feet in the world around me.

For the past 28 years, I’ve had the privilege of serving in healthcare. I continue to work full-time as a nurse practitioner in primary care, caring for families and walking alongside patients in every season of life.

Faith and family is the heartbeat behind everything I do. After years apart, God restored my marriage, and my husband and I were remarried nearly three years ago. That season of restoration deepened my faith in ways I can hardly put into words. Always progressing not perfect.

Faith Sew Sweet was born in a season of renewed purpose and joy ~ a season filled with creativity, laughter, and the realization that it’s never too late to try something new and have a little fun doing it. A reminder that we are always moving forward as God is always writing new chapters, often more beautiful than the ones before.

What began as a simple fun hobby quickly grew into a passion for embroidery ~ for thoughtful details, meaningful design, and pieces that celebrate friends, family, and the moments that matter most.

I believe creativity is a gift ~ and that skill is something entrusted to us to use well.

As Scripture reminds us:

“He has filled them with skill to do all kinds of work as engravers, designers, and embroiderers in blue, purple, and scarlet yarn and fine linen, and weavers ~ makers of every work and embroiderers of excellent designs” ~Exodus 35:35

That verse speaks to craftsmanship and purpose ~ to use your hands to create something meaningful.

Faith Sew Sweet is rooted in faith, guided by intention, and thoughtfully stitched with purpose ~ because meaningful moments deserve beautiful details. I can’t wait to create something special with you.
